Home Staging Works, Inc. was founded by Sylvia Dunn in 2006. Since the early start up years, Sylvia has been uncompromisingly building and expanding Home Staging Works’ services, inventory and footprint in the community to now be considered the largest and most reputable staging company in the Inland Northwest.

Sylvia Dunn

With a business degree and over 25 years immersed in the Real Estate industry, Sylvia has vast experience buying and selling homes and commercial properties as well as managing all types of real estate. Since 2005 her focus has been primarily on all aspects of Home Staging and Design. Sylvia is a nationally recognized speaker at staging industry conventions throughout the United States and is a professional home staging trainer for the Decorating and Staging Academy - certifying others to follow their dreams of being a successful home stager. She has authored monthly design articles in Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Living Magazine and has been featured on local television and radio stations. Along with her business degree, Sylvia has earned International Staging Professional credentials through QC Design School, The DSA, and HSRA (Home Staging Real Estate Association) and is a coveted RESA Pro member (Real Estate Staging Association) held to the highest standards in the industry. She lives in Spokane Valley with her husband and two sons.

We are known for our superior products, value-added benefits, fair pricing and responsive service. Home Staging Works is a financially strong and sound company, owning all our own inventory including a moving truck and a new 25,000 square foot warehouse. We purchase all furniture and staging items new from quality furniture suppliers, not from consignment stores. We also accept all major credit cards, ACH Payments and offer select agents and homeowners a “Pay At Close” option for staging fees.


We are the only staging company in the Inland Northwest, providing top-of-the-line monitored alarm systems through our business partner, Total Security, within every vacant home we stage. Your newly staged property not only looks high-end and appeals to the broadest market, but it is also protected and monitored 24/7 while on the market.
