Best money spent in in preparing home

Working with Sylvia was delightful. We listed our home in the middle of winter - when nobody is out looking for houses in Spokane -  and yet it was only on the market for about five weeks!  I attribute much of that to Sylvia because she really helped us look at our home with a buyer's eye.  We didn't have much money to spend on staging, and Sylvia understood that.  She helped us rearrange the furniture we already had, and she arranged items on our shelves in interesting and fresh ways.  I don't have that talent, so having Sylvia come in and assist us was a gift.  Using her was the best money we spent in preparing to list our house, and I recommend her services with great enthusiasm.

Why Stage a home?

You only have one chance to make a good first impression. When selling your home you want to insure someone does not overlook that it may be the home for them. Our homes are usually the most valuable thing we own, yet many people do not take the necessary steps to guarantee that their home "shows" in its best possible light.

Real Estate Agents know the importance of de-cluttering and de-personalizing and many of them even work with Home Stagers. By staging, you enhance your home's appearance and create broad appeal, adjusting everything from furniture layout to interior colors. In a competitive real estate market, the small investment in these services has shown livingroom_2dramatic payback both in terms of average selling times and more importantly higher selling prices.

In our expanding Northwest real estate market, Home Staging is playing an increasingly significant role in the successful sale of homes. Competition is sometimes overwhelming. By having your home staged it stands out from others on the market. It demands attention and people have a new benchmark to base their purchasing decision.

How It Works

Depending on the individual home, we will prepare it to go on the market by adding, removing, and/or rearranging furniture and decor to make the home more attractive to prospective buyers. We advise our clients on everything from decluttering, to wall colors, to furniture and accessory placement.

We can be as involved in the process as you wish. You may want to take our suggestions and do the work yourself or have us come in and do the work for you. We can work side-by-side on projects or independently. However we decide to proceed, the end result is a home transformed into a property that will appeal to a broad market ensuring a quick sale at top dollar.
