Why Re-Design

Redesign, or another name for it, One-Day Interior Design, is perfect if you are home decorating on a budget and want a sophisticated look using what you already own.

Are you longing for a change in your home? Do you have nice things, but haven’t yet been able to “pull it all together”, or are you too busy to experiment? We can make dramatic improvements without you having to start over or make additional purchases. We are experts in giving your rooms a whole new look without buying anything new. We use only your existing furnishings, but we rearrange them creatively to breathe new life into your rooms.

Using the elements of space planning, color and balance, we create interior spaces designed for your unique needs and desires. Whatever your designing challenges are, we will solve them together. How It Works

Initially we meet with you for a Redesign Consultation. At this meeting we walk through your house, room by room. We discuss what you love and what you don’t, what works and what doesn’t and what changes may be made. We’ll find out where the “unseen” treasures may be hidden. Then we set the date for the actual Redesign.

On the day of the Redesign Session, we ask that you go to work, go shopping, or out with friends while we create your new space. It is possible that you stay, but we’ve found that most clients enjoy the surprise of a transformed home when they return. While you are away, we clear the room of all artwork, accessories and as many furnishings as possible. We evaluate the room’s architecture, determine the focal point, and use design principles to artfully rebuild the room by placing the furniture, lighting, art and accessories in a new arrangement. We create inviting, functional spaces. When you return you will be walking into your new home!
